The former President continued to lie that he had lost the election without reason, and he argued that Barr was swayed by Democrats by saying he had seen no evidence of fraud. “Democrats beat Barr, he was stupid, ridiculously saying there was no problem with the Election, and they left him alone. It worked for him, but not for our Country! “he wrote on his social media communication.

In the interview seen before his opening remarks on Thursday, Barr said he told Trump he had seen no evidence of significant voter fraud that cost him the 2020 election. “I have made it clear that I disagree with the idea that the election was stolen and given these things, which I have told the President are bulls,” he said in a clip. Trump continued to spread false claims that the election was stolen during his morning gig, while also blaming the January 6 attacks. “The so-called ‘Rush on the Capitol’ ‘ not caused by me, it was caused by a strict and stolen Election! ” he wrote.

Trump’s involvement in the January 6 riots has long been a topic of discussion since the investigation began. On the first anniversary of the uprising, President Joe Biden call his predecessor for spreading lies about the 2020 election, which ultimately led to riots. “For the first time in our history, the president didn’t just lose an election, he tried to stop the peaceful transfer of power when a violent mob flooded the capital but they failed,” Biden said in his speech.

After Biden stabbed him for a big lie, Trump double down, and he called the riot commission. “Why doesn’t the Unelected Committee of purely partisan political hacks, whose verdict has long been given, not discuss the rigged 2020 Presidential Election? That’s because they don’t have an answer or justification for what happened,” he said in a statement after the speech.
