‘Lord of the Rings’ series new trailer: Sauron begins to wreak havoc
Ahead of the show’s grand debut on September 2, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power put on a pretty epic spectacle at San Diego Comic-Con on July 22. The massive cast assembled for the show. programs hang out at the convention for the first time and reveal a new trailer for fans.
“In the end, we thought the war was over. We think our fun will never end. We thought our lights would never dim,” Galadriel said in the trailer. Before long, she learns that darkness, pain, and war await.
The evil at the hands of Morgoth and now Sauron has not been completely defeated. In fact, this evil is entering a new chapter. The actor who plays Sauron is still a mystery. Only parts of his hands and arms are seen in the trailer.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power was the first television adaptation of JRR Tolkien’s Work. The trilogy was hugely successful in the early 2000s. The films grossed nearly $3 billion at the global box office. Lord of the Rings The series is one of the most expensive films ever made. The first season cost $465 million.
Prime video series was established thousands of years before the events of Hobbits and Lord of the Rings. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power begins at a time of “relative peace” when the characters, those you will recognize and those you will not, confront the “long dreaded return of evil to Middle-earth”. The series will release new episodes weekly, exclusively on Prime Video. Season 2 has been greenlit and is currently underway.
