‘Multiple Sclerosis. Marvel’: Release Date, Cast & More

Get Marvel fans excited as a new superhero is coming to the MCU soon. Ms. Marvel will premiere on June 8 on Disney+, making it the seventh Marvel Studios TV series to premiere on the streamer. It follows WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What if…?, Hawk Eyeand Moonlight Knight. Ms. Marvel will introduce Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani/American high school student from New Jersey who has acquired superpowers. The Official trailer was released in March and shows Kamala as an aspiring artist and avid gamer who writes superhero fan fiction, before becoming herself. Kamala navigates a normal high school life, including bullies and romances, while trying to save the world – no problem!

Ms. Marvel will directly tie in The Marvelshits theaters in July 2023. Kamala will appear in the film alongside Brie Larsonby Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris‘Monica Rambeau from WandaVision. But before Kamala hits the big screen, fans will get to see her gripping origin story on Disney+. From release date to cast, here’s everything we know so far about Marvel Studios’ upcoming original series, Ms. Marvel.

Iman Vellani plays the role of Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel in the series. Iman, 19 years old, is a Pakistani-Canadian actress who is new to acting. She only appeared in a few short films before getting the role Ms. Marvel in September 2020. Matt Lintz, 21 years old, is playing Bruno Carrelli, Kamala’s best friend. Matt is known for playing the lead role of Henry in Zombie. Yasmeen Fletcher playing the role of Nakia Bahadir, Kamala’s best friend; Zenobia Shroff playing the role of Muneeba Khan, Kamala’s mother; Mohan Kapoor playing the role of Yusuf Khan, Kamala’s father; Saagar Shaikh playing the role of Amir Khan, Kamala’s brother; Travis Springer playing the role of Tyesha Hillman, Kamala’s sister-in-law; Rishi Shah playing the role of Kamran, Kamala’s lover; and Laith Nakli playing the role of Sheikh Abdullah, Kamala’s religious advisor.

Knight Aramis will play the villain Kareem/Red Dagger, who wields a throwing knife. Aramis, 22 years old, previously starred in Ender’s game and appeared in episodes of Dexter, Lost, Being a parentand Girl Meets World. Arian Moayed is expected to reprise his role as DODC agent Cleary from Spider-Man: There’s no way home. Fawad Khan, Alysia Reiner, Azhar Usman, Alyy Khan, Farhan Akhtarand Mehwish Hayat have also been cast in undisclosed roles.

Crew

Bisha K. Ali is the creator and main writer of Ms. Marvel, based on the main character in Marvel Comics. Bisha has also worked as a writer on Loki. Adil El Arbi and Billal Fallah is the director of Ms. Marvel. They are both executive producers with the President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito, Victor Alonsoand Brad Winderbaum. carmen cabana and Jules O’Loughlin are cinematographers, Laura Karpman is a composer, and Arjun Bhasin is a costume designer.

Co-executive production Sanya Amanat stated that Kamala brings a “much more grounded perspective” to the MCU. Meanwhile, Bisha explained that as the lead writer and creator, she has brought “strange and magical” qualities from the comics into the TV show, according to USA Today.

Where to watch?

Ms. Marvel will premiere the first episode on Wednesday, June 8. The show will have six episodes, each released weekly until July 13. That’s the same episode number as The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawk Eye and Moonlight Knight. The show is only available to stream on Disney+. In Pakistan, the whole Ms. Marvel is being released in theaters in three parts.

Premise

The official long distance Because Ms. Marvel read “Kamala Khan, an Avengers fangirl, especially Carole Danvers/Captain Marvel, struggles to fit in until she gains powers of her own.” Fans learned more about the show from the trailer. Additionally, we also know from the comics that Kamala has the ability to harness manga energy and create structures out of a magic ring, which will happen in the TV show. Iman said in a previous interview that Kamala wanted the “simple” of life as a superhero. “At 16 and dealing with high school and boys relationships, family drama, culture and religion – it was confusing and complicated,” Iman explains. “While you’re a superhero, you fight crime and you look great doing it.”

Trivia about production

Marvel Studios begins development on Ms. Marvel back in August 2019, that’s when the series was officially confirmed at the D23 convention. Iman was first selected for the show in September 2020. The rest of the cast has been confirmed by Marvel/Disney over time. Ms. Marvel Filming begins November 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia. Filming also took place in New Jersey in March and April 2021, before concluding in Thailand in May 2021.
