Kanye West raps about custody battle with Kim Kardashian in new song True Love

In the middle of a child custody dispute with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, Kanye West raps that he felt like his children were “borrowed” when he picked them up. On Friday, the musician released a new song called True Love with the late rapper XXXTentacion, who passed away in June 2018 at the age of 20.

Designer Yeezy rapped about North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3 in the opening stanza of True Love, asking: “Wait, when you see the kids? I’ll see you guys tomorrow / Wait, when it’s sunset? I’ll see you guys tomorrow / Wait, when I picked them up, it felt like they were borrowed.” Ye continued rapping, “When I have to return them, scan them like a bar code / Wait, there are no hard feelings, but these hard feelings / Wait, who’s had kids in those days? ” what is that? “

West seems to complain in the song, which is about the struggle to keep the love alive in a relationship because the kids can’t see him even if they want to. According to Page Six, Kanye says at the end of the song that his kids can always contact him because he turned on the lights for them.

However, this is not the first time West has composed a song about Kardashian. On the most recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim tries to make peace with her family about how Kanye has ‘treated’ them over the years. The reality star is preparing West to “talk crazy” about her in an upcoming song, though it’s unclear which one. “All I can do is control how I react to something,” the Skims creator told her family members in the scene Thursday. “I can’t control how he treats me or how he always treats you guys.”
