Tom Cruise says ‘hopefully you’ll enjoy the ride’ as Top Gun: Maverick releases 36 years after its original film

Top Gun: Maverick hits theaters on May 27, and when the highly anticipated sequel hits theaters, the main star of the movie Tom Cruise took to Twitter to share a post for previous fans. Cruise returns with a sequel 36 years after the original came out. Although the original film has become one of the biggest successes of the actor’s career, fans are still hoping the same will happen with the sequel.

On Twitter, Cruise shared his excitement about the release of his new movie and wrote, “36 years after the first movie, #TopGun: Maverick is finally here. We’re on the air. the big screen. And we did it for you, the fans. I hope you guys enjoy the trip this weekend.” In addition to Cruise, the film also stars Mr. Jon HammJennifer Connelly, Miles Teller, Glen Powell, Monica Barbaro, Greg Tarzan Davis, and Jay Ellis in the lead roles.

The film’s trailers and commercials hinted it would turn into an action-adventure through space, and in a promotional video for the film, Cruise also previously revealed the intense training he set up. designs for their co-stars before they begin filming for movies. He said, “We worked with the Navy and the Top Gun school to figure out how to shoot it realistically. Because if we did that, we’d be flying in the F-18.”
